Mobile Identification Device

Purpose

It is portable device and means for outdoor usage during verification of persons and collection of information about them including biometrical data.

 

The list of main procedures

• get a person’s face image (photo)

• fingerprint scanning

• scan machine readable zone (MRZ) of a person’s e-Passport or any travel document

• input additional data for person’s identification

• display scanned and input information in suitable form

• processing of fingerprint image to produce fingerprint templates

• read information from RFID chip embedded in a person’s ePassport

• automatic verification of a person’s ePassport on the basis of received information

• define real location of the device by GPS

• automatic person’s identification by matching live fingerprint template and template from RFID chip or from
  two dimensional bar code

• wireless communication – data exchanges by WiFi with the remote Automated Fingerprint Identification
  Systems (AFIS) to provide advanced identification

• scanning and recognition of two dimensional bar codes PDF417 printed on a person’s identification
  document

Fingerprint scanner

Forensic quality 500 ppi and wide capture area: active area – 25.4x25.4mm, 3 Mpixel CMOS, frame – 524x524, parameters conform to AFIS requirements. The scanner has automatic detection of finger on the platen.

 

MRZ reader

Swipe bidirectional ORC reading of code lines from machine readable travel documents including machine readable passports (MRP), visas (MRV) and OCRB encoded cards.

 

Bar code reader

Bar code – PDF417, 3 Megapixel CMOS, 2000x1500 pixels, scanning area – 86x55mm, resolution - 500 ±5dpi

 

RFID reader

Full compatibility with ISO 14443 standard (A and B Types) up to Level 4, automatic detection of RFID chip and reading of data from the chip, size of reliable reading area – 130x90mm horizontal,up to 15 mm vertical,reading time – less than 15s.
